Some of these commercial flea solutions used to cost me $100 and they didn't even work! This year my dog had it bad with fleas. Instead of dropping another hundred dollars on something that may not even work and putting insecticide on him I decided to try a natural solution. It worked and all this only cost me at tops $25! I sprayed this on my pet and instantly the fleas began surfacing and falling off my dog! Here's the anti-flea spray I made for my little.
Flea Spray and Dry Skin Treatment
1/3 raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar (I use Bragg.)
1/3 juice from an aloe vera leaf
1/3 filtered water
couple squeezes of fresh lemon
a few drops of Citronella essential oil (I use Plant Therapy.)
a few drops of Lavender essential oil (I use Plant Therapy.)
Mix all the ingredients up in a spray bottle and spray your pet as needed. Rub it into their skin or brush through with a comb. The essential oils are optional but are a great addition. It smells great to us and the bugs hate it! The aloe vera is also optional but if your pet has dry skin like mine the aloe will help. Not to mention if he's all bit up by fleas the aloe will sooth his skin.
